Context Is King

This cluster is about how I approach a problem. Not the pipeline. Not the tool. Not the seat as a law shelf.

Two spines. One tone.

Spine one: define the outcome

If you can't say what "done" looks like in checkable terms, you're not ready to run a model. You're ready to write a brief.

A prompt without an outcome is a slot machine. Pull. Hope. Pull again.

The work is the brief: taste at the gate, evidence you'll accept, and the failure modes you refuse. Checkable done is a contract, not a vibe. If a stranger couldn't mark pass or fail from your definition, the definition isn't done yet.

Spine two: systems thinking

A problem isn't a chat turn. It's a system: inputs, constraints, feedback, state that outlives the window, and where judgement sits.

Chat forgets. Disk remembers. When I hold a problem as a system, I stop asking the model to invent structure. I give it a room: what feeds in, what must stay true, how we know we moved, and who says yes.

The model can fill a room. It can't invent the room you need.

Tone: context is king, not the prompt

Models swap. Prompts are cheap. Context is the moat: references, constraints, taste, prior decisions, the workspace you packed.

If the output is thin, don't start with a cleverer prompt. Start with what you failed to bring into the room.

What this cluster is (and is not)

Is: approach and mentality. Teachings branch from the two spines above.

Is not: a second syllabus of the ordered course. Library orients how you think. The course trains how you practise product building in sequence. For that ordered practice, take Define outcomes, then build digital products. Shared thesis. Separate jobs. No lesson dump here.

Is not: workflow recipes (those live under workflows), pure laws (doctrines), or day-to-day process hygiene (discipline and process).
