# Creative Direction Worksheet

## Define One Image

- **Outcome:** What should this image do for its viewer, and where will it be used?
- **Visual priority:** What should the viewer notice first?
- **Format:** Required aspect ratio, series length, and destination constraints.
- **Supplied references:** List each reference and its role: identity, object geometry, environment, light, colour, or composition. Share only material you intend the chosen host or tool to receive.
- **Anchors:** Which supplied facts and agreed details must survive every revision?

## Develop The Frame

For each useful choice, record its reason and consequence.

| Choice | Reason: How It Serves The Priority | Consequence To Preserve | Provenance |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Composition and camera position | | | |
| Subject action or pose | | | |
| Light and exposure | | | |
| Background and styling | | | |
| Texture and colour | | | |

Provenance labels:

- **Supplied:** Given explicitly or established by an accepted reference role.
- **Inferred:** A contextual reading open to correction.
- **Proposed:** A creative addition awaiting agreement.
- **Generated:** Material originating in an exploratory generated output. Promotion keeps this label and its limitations.

Ask one focused question when an unresolved choice would change the image. If creative development is delegated, propose a coherent direction with reasons. A complete brief and explicit prompt request can provide agreement to draft.

## Agree And Refine

- **Agreed version:** Identify the accepted brief or prompt.
- **One refinement:** Name the decision or axis to change.
- **Keep:** List the successful relationships and anchors to preserve.
- **Pending proposal:** Record revised text separately from accepted text.
- **Review:** Does the change serve the priority? Did anything that should stay fixed change?
- **Acceptance:** Save a new version linked to its parent. Keep previous text available.

Inspect generated results against the brief. A plausible study doesn't establish exact reference fidelity. Inspect exported text before sharing it.

## Optional Motion Continuation

An image alone can be the complete result.

- **Image anchor:** Selected agreed still version and its locks.
- **Mode:** Preserve, Evolve, or Multishot.
- **Duration:** Total intended seconds.
- **Timed action:** Ordered intervals that account for the whole duration.
- **Camera:** Movement and framing for each interval, with an intention.
- **Continuity:** Subject, object, environment, and styling relationships to preserve.
- **Sound:** Include only when requested.
- **Ending:** What does the last moment hold or resolve?

The timeline is creative direction. Provider capability and output fidelity need their own checks.
